It’s green smoothie time!

 

Add more or less ice and water to your tastes. Feel free to add super foods like raw cacao, chia, chlorella, spirulina, maca, bee pollen…

 

I wrote banana in each recipe but that doesn’t mean you have to use banana! Substitute it with a 1/2c of oats or cashews, or almond butter, or all three! If you don’t have a monster blender I suggest soaking your oats or cashews. You could even add a dollop of tahini!!! Crazy!

Use steamed kale or spinach. You don’t want these to be raw AND it’s much cheaper to buy them frozen.

Also try mixing your fruit around. Instead of the raspberry cacao smoothie, try strawberries or blueberries…

Add a cup of coconut milk, or 1/2 an avocado to make any of these really rich and creamy!

Here are some of my favorite combos starting off nice and simple:

2 leaves of kale 1 cup of spinach
1 scoop of ice
1 cup of coconut water

1 cup blueberries
2 leaves of kale or cup of spinach
1 scoop of ice
1 cup of coconut water

1 cup of raspberries
2 TBS raw cacao powder
2 leaves of kale or cup of spinach
1 scoop of ice
coconut water

1 banana
2 cups strawberries
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup spinach (I don’t recommend kale in this one)
1 cup coconut Milk
1 scoop of ice
